Funny how…
Funny how people complain about the price of gasoline, but still buy SUVs that get 10 miles to a gallon.
Funny how people complain about how much traffic is on the road, and all the pollution, yet no one wants to organize/participate in a carpool.
Carpooling not only saves the environment, it saves the money in your wallet too. Folks could split the cost of gas and tolls with their passengers.
Are people in general just too fundamentally selfish in this respect?

With the price of gas hitting $3.00/gallon and higher, options for other types of transportation are looking quite good. I can’t afford $50 every time I fill up my gas tank, come on! So in looking for ways to conserve energy, going back and forth to work offers the best option. Carpooling has been around for years, but is becoming very popular again. How do you get into one?
