One mechanic told me that the 97+ Montana or Ventura is the best van for the money. Somone else said that the Astro or Safari is more rugged like a truck, but I dont know if it is as good on gas.
Is it better to buy from an individual in a private sale generally, or better to go to a used car/ van dealer ? Are used vehicles generally less expensive to purchase in Quebec than in Ontario ? How about the Maratimes ?
I’ve been driving my Dodge Mini-Caravan for 13 years, and put in a second transmission and second engine. I do store to store sales, and drive thousands of kms during 8 months of the year.
