i have replaced my air cleaner to an open type (mushroom type) from a stock air cleaner (the one with a black plastic box) and i havent feel any performance and gas saving. is this really work or can you suggest anything i can do to increase mileage?

i have a 2007 Nissan Titan and i need to know some parts to help me save gas because gas in my area is $3.15 and my truck is a gas hog, a big one. things like exhaust systems, cold air intake, stuff like that. Please help !!

Like most vehicles the easiest and cheapest options are the air intake and exhaust. EG. cold air intake with a better flowing air filter, and extractors to increase the exhaust flow and reduce back pressure while making your car sounding alot nicer.
