If your only sitting for a minute or two then just let it run.

The amount of fuel you save won’t be noticable and if you wait for it to turn green then have to start your car and put it in gear then you are just holding people up behind you.

well first off it depends on where your driving like i live in st. louis mo its a big city and a bunch of stop and go so if you shut your caR OFF EVERY TIME YOUR AT A STOP SIGN IT WILL EAT YOUR FUEL AND NOT ONLY THAT REPEATLY shutting off your engine and restarting it is hard on your engine and your starter. idling is also gonna eat gas but the plus side to this is that its not hard on your engine.

hope this helps…

for every 10 seconds you idle, it takes that much gas to start the car

its pointless to shut your car off at stoplgiths
it may be good for saving a littttttle bit of gas
but bad for the engine
so not really more econimcal if youre gonna replace the engine..

just learn to drive smart, and not a big suv
