Well seeming that it is usually junior pilots doing training exercises, even if NASCAR were to cancel the fly overs, the planes would still be in the air.

My guess is there are over 50 thousand airline flights a day world wide so I think the jet fly over would not make any minute difference and also the pilots jet flight time in of which they need so many hours a month to keep qualified.
