I’m sure a lot of gasoline is used up by people waiting in line for the greasy fast food. These people would still get their food and the business would still sell. Doesn’t negatively affect the businesses.
I would die of shock and surprise if the Drive-Thru service at fast food restaurants would no longeer be available for the sole reason of it causing too many emmissions, & polluting our planet and atmosphere. Even though we’ve known forever that is not helping the situation. However, people like conveinence offered to them in their lives, so NO I don’t think that would ever happen. Another reason to support that is we are the most obese Country with the most % of overweight adults and children. * Just think…. Maybe if we adopted a cleaner fuel source like Sugar Cane Ethanol, and fuel our cars that way we wouldn’t have to worry about sitting in the drive-thru polluting the planet more and more!!!! Wow what a concept.
No, they have a right to have drive ups, and we have a right to park and walk in. I’m a conservative, so I believe in taking responsibility for myself. I also am driving 55 mph. now, which really conserves gas.
most people put their car in neutral while waiting which burns very little gas by comparsion of driving. If you got rid of drive through, you’d need to increase parking reducing the size of the resturant and its capablities to serve its customers.
Better yet, let’s outlaw stores so that people won’t have to drive places and buy stuff. Oh, yeah, and if we outlaw cars, then people will have to walk everywhere. That won’t do any harm, will it?
why not eliminate plastic? i spent 5 hours tonight at work stripping plastic off of new garments, just to throw it into the trash and have it dumped in a landfill. Isn’t plastic a petroleum product? how much oil could we save with the elimination of so much excess plastic–to say nothing of the landfills that are overflowing with the non-biodegradable crap!
Use API certified “Energy Conserving” motor oil, either conventional or synthetic. Use the service classification and viscosity specified for your vehicle. Example: SJ and 5W-30. Follow use/change interval in vehicle owner’s manual.

I don’t think this is the answer… the relatively small amount of gas saved wouldn’t be worth the effort of instituting the idea…

If we did that, wouldn’t you be lonely at the drive-thru window?
GOOD IDEA!!!!!
