Riding Motorcycle to gun show today, If I purchace a rifle, whats the proper way to carry it on a motorcycle?
the gun show is 130 miles away
taking the bike to save on fuel costs
if i do buy a long rifle at this gun show, where on the bike can i carry it?
its too long to fit behind the seat, the only thing I can think of is bungee strap it parallel with the handlebars

I have carried a rifle slung on my back while ridin a motorcycle. If u set it up right the stock hangs down to one side and won’t hit the seat cuz the gun hangs at an angle on your back.
Look for a rifle scabbard that you can attach to your bike.
C’Mon Bart – they won’t sell a firearm to a kid.And you don’t have a bike anyway – so get real.
If you actually rode anywhere you would know to sling a soft gun case across your back and tighten it down a bit so it didn’t shift around when you were going down the road.
Keep it across your legs. That way if someone cuts you off etc, you can point it at them.
Make sure its fully loaded too.
Stick it up your Donkey , that will conceal it
you clearly have NO business in possession of a firearm. the NICS system is going to show you have a mental problem and get you denied anyway
-and 260 miles is too far to pedal your bike. you are no lance armstrong.
If your bike gets 50 mpg and your 4-wheel conveyance gets 13 mpg, you’ll save about $30 by riding the bike. Weigh the hassle of hanging onto a rifle on a bike and possibly getting in rain and bugs splattered onto it against $30 worth of gas.
Put the sling over your head so the rifle hangs in front of you with the stock to the right, like the Taliban do.
