the less rpm’s you have…the more you save fuel
my best mpg is around 1,500 to 1,800 rpms
it varies from each car but if your at 70 MPH and that’s the speed you want to drive look at the tach and see what it is, I’ve found on a few cars that around 1700 RPM and 2200 RPM is good.
I’ve also found that driving at the speed of 60 MPH will increase your mileage greatly from 70 MPH but doing this can be dangerous
in almost every car, 70 mph is going to be a specific rpm (since the transmission ties the revs of the wheels to the revs of the motor), and you can’t really change it.
the trick is to use as little gas pedal as possible. the deeper you have your foot in it, the more gas you are going to use.
2400 rioughly
depends on your engine
While it’s true that the less RPMs means less gas, it doesn’t mean that it’s the best mileage for your car.
It all depends upon your vehicle. Engine size, transmission, gear ratios, and drag all must be taken into account.
