Oil in the World !!!!!!?
We know that there is limited amount of oil in the world and it is exhausting soon. The governments of every country are finding ways to conserve oil.
My question is: If we are finding ways to save the oil then why people are wasting gas/petrol in stupid races such as NASCAR, F1, Rally etc.

I think the amount they use racing is nothing compared to all the 75 Chevy pickups running around here in the US.
The race cars don’t use a thousandth of what one ocean going ship or cross country freight train use on just one trip.
Theres nothing stupid about Nascar, f1, OR rally races.. Freakin yuppies.
And the others a right, Nascar doesn’t use that much compared to a lot of other things. And besides, Alternative fuels and lubricants for engines are becoming available.
I assure you, racing series will be among the first to abandon petroleum.
And Formula 1 has recently decided to allow energy-recovery systems. You’re eventually going to see cars on the road get a lot more efficient because of this, as racing will drive the bleeding-edge development of these systems.
oklatom: There’s oil, and then there’s cheap oil. If it costs 1000 dollars per barrel to recover, it may as well not exist.
There is plenty of oil, if the tree huggers would stop passing legislation designed to keep it from being removed from the ground. I’m talking both off shore and Alaska.
