There are a few thing you can do. you want to make sure your tire pressures are at the right pressure. if too low this will eat gas cause the engine works harder to move a car with low tire pressure. make sure that air filter is clean so car can breathe easy. make sure you are tuned up. spark plugs, spark plug wires, pcv valve, fuel filter should all be fresh and to spec. also this is a hard one to do but slow down. a car will use less fuel going 60mph than 70 or 75. these should help but with the price of gas its still gonna be a bit harsh.
