Well, leaving your tailgate down actually causes more wind resistance and uses more gas… duh….

But there is a new hydrogen osmosis battery that NASA has been using in satellites for the last 10 years or so that has become cheap enough to use in electric cars now.

just saw a company claiming to do that was shut down, at least temporarily, by the gov’t.
