Is The Following Route A Or Route B Saving Gas?
Route A
Going up is 28 minutes /18.69 miles long .
Coming back (using same route) is 27 minutes/ 16.96 miles long.
ROUTE B
Going up 26 minutes/19.80 miles.
Heading back (same route) is 25 minutes at 19.79 total miles.
which route will save me on gas? these are a bit of city then highway miles.

That’s a close call. All things being equal thate the shorter route (route a).
But given they are so close (in distance) other things may make more of an effect (like traffic). Only you can tell.
