standard, you have more control over your rpms, and how fast you go.
you only get about 1-3 mpg better with a standard but its your decision.
on the highway you do average better gas mileage but in town you don’t,you have to change gears to many times,so it will actually hurt some cars in town,but on the highway some will do better,but with the new automatics they have now it doesn’t make that much of a difference,good luck.
it was more significant in the past, but with today’s computer controlled transmissions the automatic will be pretty much the same unless you are some amazing driver
