Is it true that turning on the A/C in your car with windows closed is fuel efficient than windows open A/C off
due to wind resistance.
How much fuel do you save either way. Please share your experience.

it is more efficient with the windows up at anything above about 45 mph-they are designed that way. around town it doesnt make much difference
At 60 mph it’s better to have your windows closed. In stop and go traffic it’s better to turn off the A/C and open the windows. That’s the best information I have from reading about the question and answers by the experts.
umm no Haveing a/c on actually gives you poor fuel economy
it is actually a fair trade off. the work needed to drive the compressor, and the work needed to overpower the extra wind resistance pretty well balances out in most situations.
