most bikes can get about 60mpg or more depending on their displacement. the insurance will depend on your age and driving history, but it’s usually about $100 a month or less(at least it is for me). bikes are a lot cheaper than cars in many ways. you can buy something that’s only a couple years old with very low miles for only about 5 grand, and most parts are very inexpensive compared to cars. considering the lesser amount of parts, there’s less things to break and they actually turn out to be pretty reliable.

whatever you do, just make sure you have a car around for winter. you don’t want to go through the snow on 2 wheels, trust me.

Depends on many factors:
Where do you live?
What is your age?
What would your insurance cost be?
etc?

We’re not mind-readers here.

here in florida there is no insurance requirement at all. just a safety course is required to obtain a motorcycle permit. gas mileage is amazingly better (unless you drive a smart car). if youve never rode before get a smaller bike. i wouldnt go any larger than 750cc on your first bike. i been ridin a while and down graded to a 250cc ninja. just because i dont need to fly at the take off anymore. and it will easily do 100. ill never need to go faster than that anyways. the higher the cc, the more power, of course. But once you get into like 1000ccs youre never going to use that to its fullest. But then again. Some people dont get the 1200cc motorcycle to actually go 180mph stock. They just like to know they can.
