Is gas more expensive than electricity in Europe?
I have heard that it is better in Europe if you have an electric stove/hot water system in your home than a gas because gas is more expensive. Is this true? It is the opposite here in Australia, you would probably save 60% with gas rather than electricity.

“Europe” is a very vague term, it is a diverse and sizeable continent with many different countries, cultures and living habits, as well as economies. You need to be more specific.
average price of gas in europe 3c per kWh average price of electricity is 12c per kwh, but “off peak” overnight electricity is available at half price but you pay a lot more during the day
