making a list for saving fuel please tell me what modifications can you do to a car to make it more fuel efficient, I already have:
1.better driving habbits
2.increase air flow in and out, (intake & exhaust)
3.check alignment
4.check tire pressure
5.lighten the load
6.remove roof racks
7.windows closed
8.use correct oil for your car/use think synthetic oil
i wish to make a bigger list, please do inform me with ideas, even weird stuff that you have thought of when you’re bored

I drive a crew cab utility bed 1 ton diesel truck on 37″ tires (weighs over 11,000lbs) and I have done intake, exhaust, power chip, synthetic oil and I keep the tire presure at 48psi. The truck averaged 11.8 mpg when I bought it. After I did everything to it, I now get 14.8mpg average.
avoid if possible congested areas cruisin @ 55-60 is optimal fuel efficency thats was the real reason for speed limit imosition in 1970′s ( along with a way to get money ) not safety as the propaganda says
Manual transmissios get better fuel economy
use cruise control it helps a bit
not using heat/Ac ( even at these bushwhacked prices u dont save enough to warrant discomfort but if its like 70 no need for Ac or heat at 60 )
don’t use AC…use the fan
