60 n 55 is unsafe
From my experiences, 55 was the most efficient speed. And if the car is an older model, it will burn far less oil at 55 and lower speeds than at 65.
If you’re going 55-60 with a 65mph speed limit, you will save a mpg or two and be the a-hole slowing down traffic and causing congestion thereby increasing pollution and then lowering everyone’s gas mileage cause they’ll all end up doing 10mph in a 65 when traffic packs up. Good job.
I only know km/h but on avg ur vehicle apparently will use 10% more fuel for every 10 km/h over 90 km/h (doesn’t sound right to me but it was actually a question on my drivers test.)
most cars have a notch or mark on the speedometer at the mph where the car is most fuel effecient, mine has a bold line on 55mph cuz thats my most fuel efficent speed, look for a bolder line or a notch or somethignn that sets one speed different from all the others
