If Hybrid Cars Are So Great For Saving Fuel, Why Aren’t All Cars Made As Hybrids?
the price…
say ford makes 1,000,000 cars a year (just a number) and they add something as simple as 2 lights over the license plate instead of 1, that light cost them a dollar…. in turn that cost them an unnecessary extra million dollars….
imagine if it had been something more complex
i.e. a motor (system) that cost 10 times as much

because the technology is still new and cost more money to put on a car and the car buying public cares more about there money then some trees and animals
Well there not. And not everyone worries about gas mileage. They have no style, class or performance. I pass no thanks.
Hybird cars as not as fuel efficient as the makers would like you to believe they are. The benefit right now is in the city. On the highway the fuel economy drops off to slightly above average. Don’t run out and buy one just yet. Also consider expense for making a vehicle like this as well as marketing a car of a different nature. All adds up to lots of money spent by the auto industry.
