If everyone in North America maintained proper tire pressure how much gas would that save ?

i think it will contribut many factors not only proper tire pressure as for my knowledge if u drive eco friendly u may save 20% to 30% for example if u drive a car 20000km as normal, on the same gas you can drive the same car for 25000km you may drive . every one here can do calculation for the amount spent on the gas in their respective countries
Lets say that cars with proper tire pressure get 3 more mpg than cars without on average. And lets say the average person drives 12,000 miles per year. Also that the average mpg for the average car is 19 mpg.
So a person without proper tire pressure drives 12,000 miles per year averaging 19 mpg would use 632 gallons of gas per year.
And a person WITH proper tire pressure drives 12,000 miles per year averaging 22 mpg would use 545 gallons of gas per year…a difference of 86.54 gallons.
Multiply that by the population of North America’s car drivers, an estimated 380 million, you get 3.29 billion gallons of gas saved.
and then if you multiply that by the average cost per gallon, say $2.89, you get $9.5 billion saved in gas.
