I Need Your Opinion On This Gas Saving Device?
You know the Tornado (with no moving parts)
Well this has blades that go in the intake tube and when air goes through, the blades spin and create a little boost, the more air flow in the intake, the faster the blade spins, the more boost. Its only $30+$14 shipping, I have a 3.2L and was wondering if its worth it?

Don’t waste your money. Best gas saving device is your foot. Try not to punch the gas or ride the brake.
Save your money…the device is worthless.
However, investing that amount in a good tune-up will pay for itself in a short time, especially if you’ve not done so in a long time. You’d be surprised how much of a difference just a new set of spark plugs can make!
the only way this would work is if the blades were calibrated precisely to compress the air like a jet engine does and then release it at an exacting angle at the ground to a.) lighten the downward force of the car on the road making the engine move less weight, and/or b.) provide forward propulsion assistance.
Unless this thing is calibrated perfectly, the drag caused by the resistance of the blades against the wind would actually make your car have worse gas mileage.
Its not worth it, it does nothing for you at all.
I will tell you what I know about this device. Yes they do work and then wear out quickly. So are they worth the money spent on them… NO. Save your money.
Note: If you were to buy all the items available on the market that claims to save gas… in short order you would need to remove gas from your tank. Since this does not happen, the only way to save gas is you Tune up your car, take off slower, drive slower, etc.
Its bulls**t. It does not work. It is a scam. you can make any ho****hit claim today and there is nobody to stop you.
It’s a scam!
Actually, it does work, but just not the way you think it does. What happens is that you spend your 44 bucks on it which makes your wallet lighter. By having a lighter wallet, there is less weight in the vehicle and less weight means fuel savings.
BTW, there are no moving parts on those Tornado units ( nothing “spins” ). What they claim to do is spin the air to create turbulence which they claim saves gas and creates power. Others have tested this product and it consistently shows that it does absolutely nothing for performance nor fuel economy.
