i have old car model 1983 and use gasoline 90 ,can i use gasoline 92 ?will that make difference or harm engine
my car is fiat fura 127 model 1983,903 cc.a new gasoline type appeared in the marked which is 92 octane,i used to use 90 octane .will that make any difference in the engine power? will be there any harm on my engine or it is save to use?

you’re only wasting your money with the higher octane on that p.o.s. stick with the 87…
all the octane we have here is 87 89 and 91

903 is the size of the old Fiat Abarth engine – same block, but in your car different heads and pistons, con rods, and crankshaft. Your motor should be very happy running on anything fom 87 to 90 octane, 87 being “Regular” gas. There is no real advantage to going to a higher octane number. If you find that under heavy accelleration the motor ‘knocks’ a higher octane might help – but you’d be much better off to just check the ignition timing and set it up to run on 87 octane. Saves a few bucks, and face it, your beast is not a dragster and doesn’t need premium gas.
It won’t hurt it but will cost about another .10 cents a gallon.
