I have heard that filling auto tires with nitrogen will save gas? True or Not?

people say that nitrogen is cooler on tire thus heat is resistance giving you poorer gas mileage?

It is true the Nitrogen particles are bigger than the air particles so they wont leak out of your tire as fast.

It will not save gas, it takes just as much air (which is a gas) to fill a tire to the right pressure as nitrogen (which is also a gas).
When measured based on volume.

It is true the Nitrogen particles are bigger than the air particles so they wont leak out of your tire as fast, and nitrogen also gives you a better ride and does fluctuate during the seasons like air does.that is why i have them on all three of my cars and my travel trailer.
