It could be if you are lugging the engine.
you not going to save gas by jumping from second to the fourth, besides you going to overload your engine
Tougher on the tranny and engine + you don’ t save any $$$
First, its OK as long as you are not lugging the engine and do not mind the slow acceleration.
However the amount of gas you save is minimal.
