those are pretty good on gas any way ,about the only thing that you can do that will really make a big difference in it is to watch your driving habits, don’t do no jack rabbit starts with it,and also keep the speed down on it,that will help it a lot, with the air filter you have and good driving habits ,it should be pretty good on gas right now, good luck on it hope this helps.

keep your speed down. for every mph over 65 you lose .1mpg
use your cruise control. a steady even pedal is what gets the best mpg.
drive like your grandmother. stay in your lane. don’t tailgate.
listen to talk radio. it keeps your mind busy so you forget about the ratrace,

aftermarket add-ons may improve economy, but not enough to pay for themselves. Mythbusters did this. Most failed.
Best advice, just drive like a nice old lady.

The filter will help, but it will be hard to notice. I drive a semi & here are some things I do to help w/ my mileage. ‘
1. slow down 55-60mph is adequate.
2. if it’s not too hot out, leave the a/c off
3. in traffic, try to pace w/ other cars, anticipate if they are going to stop or not and coast so that u don’t have to accelerate to get moving again.
4. keep the car well tuned
5. tire pressure needs to be kept right where Scion says it should
6. Don’t as any body kits to the car. They as weight and don’t save gas
7. Find out the torque rating for the lug nuts and get them set where Scion says to. This will prevent wheel and disc brake warping. They cost money, so you might as well save your $ to buy gas.

I hope this helps.
