For that size tire, almost any name would make a reputable, quality tire that would serve the purpose you’re looking for.
Personally, I feel that Canadian Tire’s Motomaster brand are a very good and very fairly priced tire. Besides, I do believe that brand might be made by Goodyear anyway.
B.F. Goodrich is a great tire. Yokohama have been making some nice tires of the smaller variety. I’m a huge Goodyear fan myself.
The only name brand tires I don’t care for are Michelin and Dunlop. Overpriced and only fair performance on the Michelin and Dunlop should stick to what they’re good at, motorcycles.
If I had to pick one for you, I’d go with the Motomasters. If they’re not available, find a set of Goodyears.
Check out Bridgestone Potenza G009′s, Great tire at a great price
Take a look at Toyo tires they make a model called Spectrum which carries a 65k mileage warranty as well as a 500 mile or 45 day trial offer.
Also, check with the dealer you purchase your Toyo’s from and ask if they have nitrogen to fill your tires with. Nitrogen filled tires run cooler and there for use less energy…
