How to save gas? Any ideas?

fill the car with gas in the morning or at night, see if some gas stations have discount during the week, see if your job gives out gas cards

Carpool, trade-in, buy a motorcycle, ride a bicycle, tuneup, over-inflate car tires, steal gas, take over OPEC, marry a Bush……

I could go on, but I think I’ve about covered it all.

Perhaps walking would be the best…

You save up gas, you also get to have an exercise.

But of course…

Don’t walk if your targeted area would be far.

try hypermiling… get a scangauge with mpg, so you can watch it and try different technique’s.. and read this..

Do regular maintainance.

Remove unnecessary items in the car that increases load.

Share rides.

Ride a bicycle for short trips.

Ride a bike to work or to the store. It will save the gas in the car, and you will get exercise. If you drive your kids to school, get them into riding with their friends. You’ll find they have a lot of fun (I’m 13 and I do).

The best way to save gas, in my opinion, is to burn water instead. Before you just blow off this answer as silly, know this:
Water is made of hydrogen and oxygen. Both burn. Oxygen is extremely explosive so we’ll take that out for now. Hydrogen burns well and is easily controlled. The danger in hydrogen is storing it under pressure so that it can be used.
