How much money do you spend on your car.?
I drive a Honda Odyssey. I coast to stop lights. I use my brakes intermittently so as not to get them hot. Therefore they last much longer. I always keep tachometer at 2000 when starting off at go light so as to conserve gas. (This causes slow acceleration.) I never drive over 65 anywhere unless it would be an emergency. I coast down hills when possible. The people who hate me are the one rushing up to stop lights and jamming on their brakes, then take off like a bat out of hell. I don’t worry about the dirty looks or fingers I get. I SAVE MONEY.

About $25 a week, 174 miles minimum (on commuting). But I don’t impede traffic (which, you should know, is a violation of the motor vehicle laws).

Yeah I drive a supercharged Ford F150 , I go like 3000 to 4000 RPM on every stop light, Im always speeding and passing traffic, I always go 80 to a 100 on highways, I never coast even on small streets. So Im probably one of those that “hate” you as you say. And I waste $100 to $150 on gas weekly, but I do drive to alot of places so that’s why.
