Comments on how much gas would saved by everyone parking their car for one day a week?
Well, it we assume they work 5 days a week, and leave it parked on their two days off, the overall saving for leaving if parked another day would be 1/5th of the currently used fuel.
If everyone (in the U.S.) parked their cars for one day, then fuel suppliers would lose millions of dollars (a major loss in profits).
This would result in higher gas prices due to the cut in profits for
the suppliers.
But, have no fear, this will probably never happen.
It still uses gas to park a car, it would save a lot if everyone just didn’t use their car for a day.
