How much gas will I save driving slower?
I have a long commute to work- 120 miles each way. I usually drive around 80 MPH. How much gas will I save if I drive 65 MPH?

It depends what car you have, How many gallons the car holds etc.
Try it for a week or two and find out.
The most efficient speed for most cars is based on the engine’s power band. Look-up the specs on the engine that’s in your car, & the engine’s horsepower will be a number at a specific rpm, like 200 hp at 3,750 rpm. SO, the engine is most efficient/makes the most power at 3,750 rpm … Drive the car so the engine is turning at 3,750 rpm.
Your MPG will likely increase quite a bit, especially when you’re driving into a headwind. It takes a huge amount of energy to keep a vehicle moving at 80 MPH when moving into a headwind.
