How Much Gas Is Wasted While Your Car Idles?
To conserve gas, I have begun turning off the engine while I idle at stop lights (there are many more techniques I am utilizing, known collectively as “hypermiling”). For every minute that your car idles, how much gas is wasted?

Wastes more doing that. It auto revs when it cranks.
That would be a variable figure. It would depend on the size of the engine, idle speed, and if the engine is warm or not. A cold engine will have a higher idle and a richer fuel mixture.
Personally, I think it better to leave the engine running while you are at a light. That way the power steering pump and the power brakes are still working. It is more of a safety thing to me. The amount of fuel that you will use while idling for a minute or two will not be that much. Granted shutting the engine off will not use any fuel, but then you have to restart it.
good luck.
