How much does it cost to fill your gas tank?

31

The gas increase hasn’t affected me until yesterday. My hubby always makes sure my car is filled up. So there I am for the first time in forever getting gas for myself, when the dial says $50.00! and it still didn’t fill my tank up all the way! WTH! I have a small Sebring! To conserve gas, I have been putting the top down every where I go, so ofcourse my hair suffers, but I am considering buying a moped!

I hate when my bubble is burst and I am faced with harsh realitites such as these.
So, are you feeling the crunch from the gas prices yet?
the aerodynamics of the car, and with the top down I am not using the airconditioner, thats how it is saving gas.
K= Awesome, that is good to know!

I drive a damn truck. It eats gas like gremlins eat children.

QUEENIE: I filled er up. Cost me $78.54. I cried as I handed over almost $80.

JEN @ 11:57 am #

yep. i think we all are feeling it.

Kevin = awesome @ 12:38 pm #

last fill up was under $30 but that was only a half a tank. you know putting the top down creates a drag on your car and uses more gas? i am a science nerd and i know these things.

bc of the price of gas, i have to cut back of the number of my little ponies that i get.

[s]ilent [o]ne @ 12:44 pm #

I dont know, i wish i knew. since it reached 3.00 ive never filled it up. i can only afford 25$ per week so that gets my gauge to a quarter full. yeah do the math

sunshinegirl @ 1:28 pm #

yes, it cost anywhere between 45 to 50 dollars a week and I drive a chevy cavalier that is a standard so that helps a little

Kiss my Susan D @ 1:47 pm #

I just put a quarter of a tank in my Rodeo….$30…. I think it would be cheaper to buy a horse and feed than to pay for gas.

Jcontrols @ 2:24 pm #

22 gallons @ $4.03/gallon =$88.66 worth of regular in a little S-10 pick-up! Glad I only use a third of a tank/ week! ;-(=

beespost @ 3:20 pm #

It cost me $56 the other day to fill it. I have a Saab. It really sucks. I didn’t feel the crunch either until I actually filled it all the way.

Karen @ 3:31 pm #

Savage @ 5:23 pm #

between $60-$65. I drive a CAMRY! Thats ridiculous, I mean I could see it for a dang hummer, but a Camry? No WAY. It hurts my feelings!

MOs fishin @ 6:01 pm #

empty truck 90 dollars, car 38.95, just to dern much

hip lady @ 6:46 pm #

i have not filled my tank up in so long i could not tell you. i am only putting gas in to go where i have to go. i have decided that the rich gas people are not going to get all my money. so when ever i leave to go any where i only put in two gallons of gas. i don’t look at the prices any more. only the gallons. that way those rich gas people won’t get that much out of me. i walk when ever passable. the people in my little town i live in used to think that i was crazy because i walked every where i went to. now they cheer me own. but they never stop to ask if i want a lift.

Charlotte8 @ 6:53 pm #

I have no idea honey. I have $30/wk for gas so that’s what I put in. Amen. ?

?Michael?Anthony? @ 7:06 pm #

$90+

I think it would be cheaper to just fill my Expedition with Tequila

?Livin' Life? @ 7:48 pm #

It is a strain with these prices. My husband filled his car up yesterday and it was $50…I won’t even fill mine up because I don’t want to know, mine is a SUV

Papa McCain @ 8:28 pm #

Yesterday it was $87.53 to fill up my van. Thank God I get to use a company gas card!

Jay H. aka Studmuffin Jay @ 9:13 pm #

well i just filled up my truck today from a half a tank and it cost $55 dollars, so I have been feeling it bad for awhile.

Zardoz @ 9:47 pm #

Actually, with the windows down you are adding to the air resistance and creating more drag, so your gas mileage will be worse. Pickup trucks get worse mileage for the same reason.

My 2005 Cavalier’s tank is 14 gallons. On Thursday, it cost me over $52 to fill up before my job interview.

Bark at the Moon @ 10:12 pm #

I just got some gas about an hour ago and it cost me a lil over $60.00 and gas is $3.67 a gallon here.
