how much does a steel car wheel and tire weigh?

I’m wondering how much fuel/wear and tear I save by taking the spare tire out and just taking one of those fix-f-flat-cans with me.

U WILL NEVER SAVE DOING THIS IF U HAVE A BLOW OUT YOUR CAR YOUR CAN IS USELESS, AND THE WEIGHT YOUR CAR WILL NEVER KNOW THE DIFFERENCE ALWAYS CARY A SPARE TIRE AND THAT’S THE TRUTH

Fix a flat may work, if the damage to to the tire is minimal, but what if it is not? Fix a flat does not work on anything but a small puncture.

Carry the spare. The fuel savings would only be a few cents, the tow cost if you have a flat would be much more!!
