HOw do I know witch fuel pump to buy?
I have 95 lincoln continental,(fuel pump in tank) so far i’v seen 2 different looking fuel pumps, id like to buy the same one that im changing. How could I know witch fuel pump is right to maybe save me a trip to the auto store?? thanks..

Take the old pump with you to the auto parts store and compare it with what they have.
drop the tank and pull the pump out.

I just got a message that you are having a problem getting a fuel pump for your 95 Lincoln I believe. This is what I would do. Call your local Ford / Lincoln dealer and talk to the parts department they won’t bite you. Tell them your problem and have the VIN number ready all 17 char.
They are going to probably be most interested in the 6th, 8th, and 10th, also the last 6 or 8 numbers
also . they will give you a Ford Part Number make shure it has at least 10 characters you can take that number to your local discount auto parts store and they can match it up. (Most of the Time) however you might still need to remove the old pump from the tank and take it with you. (Sorry)
