How can I save money on gasoline?
What is the most popular method? i.e. changing driving habits, putting additives/devices on the car, rebate or discount cards?
Which rebate/discount cards work? One of my friend used HESS Visa… the other used NationalGasClub.com… but claims he can go anywhere. Just trying to figure out what is working for everyone out there. Ideas?

Changing driving habits along with making sure your car is in proper working order is by far the most effective means of increasing your gas mileage. Stop accelerating hard from lights, stop waiting until the last minute to brake, learn to look ahead and read traffic, drive the speed limit, don’t let the car idle for 5 minutes while you’re waiting for someone etc.
Start walking
ride a bike. my work is four miles away. 8 miles to and from. so if i work 5 days a week i save driving 40 miles a week. i get 20 miles per gallon on my car, so i am using 2 gallons of gas a week. my gas prices are about 3 dollars here so i am saving 6 dollars a week. over ten weeks i save 60 dollars. winter is comming, not sure where you live but it is easier to take the bike durring warmer weather. i do more driving in the winter obviously but give bike riding a shot next spring if winter is a factor in your area
HMMM!! lets see. Right now gas is cheap so why trying to save money. It’s going to go back up to three dollars but that is still not bad. When gas was four dollars a gallon people were snatching up power programmer’s , air intake kit, exhaust system. Those are things that are going to save you $$ on gas. Additives might not help out as proved on tv and independent lab studies. Some have detergents or ingredients that can actually harm the seals on the parts in your car causing them to prematurely fail. The best thing to do is watch your driving habits unless you can fork up about 400 for an exhaust system, 400 for a programmer and 300 for an air intake. Making those modifications will however increase horsepower and torque as well. Most of the vehicles i install these on are trucks whose owner is looking for more power to pull trailers or beat their buddies car out on the 1/4 mile. I get some cars every now and then. The mod’s pay for themselves and do so quickly if gas is four dollars a gallon.
ok what you need to do is this: replace your fuel filter if needed, also replace your air filter and in-fate your tires to the correct PSI. make sure your oil is changed every 3000 miles, 6000 miles IF you have synthetic oil in your car. try not to jump on the accelerator so much and break slowly.if you have a standard then use your gears to slow you down. ok now use lucas oil cylinder lubricant, its a small skinny bottle that treats up to 16 gallons. it lubricates ur piston rings and cleans out your injectors all of this will improve ur gas mileage but be careful! the gas treatment will burn a hole through your piston if you add too much. contact me if you need more info..
for 1 thing keep your foot out of the carburator. what i mean is slow down.
