Has anyone you know made changes in driving to save fuel?
Such as getting more groceries and stocking them to save trips?
Car pooling?
Leave the car home and ride bicycle, walk, or take bus to store or work?
Use motorcycle to save gas?
Switched to a diesel vehicle?

Petrol in the UK is nearly £1 a litre. I’ve stopped tooling it around as much as I used to.
i usually carpool
I traded in my gas-guzzling SUV for a compact fuel effecient sedan.
I use my 200cc motorcyle as daily transport, unless the weather is bad,or I need to transport more than two people or large items. The bike does about 30km/l, as opposed to my cars 9km/l.
yes, I live about five miles from town and take my bicycle to a bus stop and ride the bus from there except days when I need to haul home groceries.
Now, I buy things that I can stuff in boxes and save so i don’t make extra trips to town. I even bought two extra gas cans so I could keep some handy and not have to worry about driving in on 1/4 tank just to get gas.
I don’t go cruising anymore, used to love to do that at night just as the sun goes down, but now I still take the bicycle sometimes.
I’m thinking of looking for a diesel vehicle too. There is more and more biodiesel becoming available in town and just maybe I’ll go with that.
