Has anyone bought a gas or electric scooter to get around?

Looking for people who bought or got a scooter to help save gas to get around? I have a Yamaha Towny 1982 50cc motor automatic, top speed 50kms ( 35mph).. Fun to drive But not for long rides, but it is cheap. I boght it from a friend $100 Cdn. excellent shape.. What does anyone else have?

I had the Suzuki 1985, I loved it, it was really fan to ride.
