I keep seeing the adds for the DIY kits – is it worth buying and installing?

Studies have shown that altering traffic lights to ensure maximum flow can reduce gasoline consumption in cities by between 10% and 20%. Already, lots of places have intelligent traffic light systems that use sensors to detect when and how often to change lights.

I have no experience with those kits. One major problem is where to get the hydrogen. If you purchase it in tanks, you are packing around a tank with 3000 psi in it and if you are in a wreck, those types of tanks can fly up to 1/4 miles leaving an explosive trail. If you try to generate your own hydrogen it very large quantities, it is expensive and dangerous. They sound like a rip off to me.
they don’t work.
A) the volume that they produce is only a drop in the bucket compared to the gasoline that’s used.
B) it takes more energy to make the hydrogen than burning it produces.
