Comments on ford racing fuel injectors?
Another person with no idea. Sheesh.
First off. Ford RACING. Race cars arent built for fuel economy. Race cars are desiged to go as fast as possible by whatever means possible. Using more fuel isnt a concern to a race team.
The power gain you would experince using racing injectors on a stock motor would be around 15 – 20HP, however, your fuel economy will suffer.
Bigger fuel injectors = more power = more fuel
Saving gas and making alot of power just doesnt work together, you either have one or the other. The stock injectors you have on your truck now will take you out to about 400 hp,anything beyond that and you’ll need to upgrade them, when you upgrade your injectors, you’ll more than likely need to upgrade your fuel pump to handle the increased demand from the injectors.A set of FRPP injectors will run you about $500.00.Stay w/ your stock injectors, you’ll be fine.
once again here we are ! good to hear from ya !– changing to the higher rated injector is going to do absolutely nothing-repeat nothing-no increase in power=nothing but empty your wallet=so if you want to throw away 6-800 bucks id be more than happy to give you my address–injectors adding more horsepower on a stock or even moderately modified engines ? thats a new one me–look for it in the humor section in my next book
