does using OD off save my car petrol consumption or leaving OD on is safer?
;laterly my mitsubishi chariot 2.0 consumes so much fuel despite having serviced it, changing plugs, air filter, fuel fillter, and oil. i have taken it to diagnostic garage and nothing was discovered except that the air intake was adjusted. this has not solve the problem. what can i do or examine?

leaving OD on will help save fuel by letting car go in a higher gear when it can…….make sure you check tire air pressure
Leaving the OD off will cause you to use more fuel. The car will go in or out of OD as needed. It is automatic, so you don’t have to worry about it. The condition of using too much gas may have some basis in your driving habits, the temperature, where you drive, or a mechanical malfuncton.
