no, it just ticks off the people behind you waiting for you to start your car again…
No because starting your car up takes more gas than ideing for 30 seconds
no, it takes more gas to turn off and then start it like that, not only that you’ll wear your starter out in no time
No and its bad for the starter alternator etc…
No actually its harder on your car.
probably not, b/c it takes more energy to get your pistons in motion; than just idling at the same pace. Also you would go through alot of batteries and alternators.
a little amount
uuuhhhhhhhhhhhhh…………..
No, cause what gas you do save you will waste when you start up again when the lights turn green!
That depends on timetable, starting cost you more gas to burn as well as take seconds to startback, but if traffic will last more than 3 minutes, and your starting system is ok, then you save by shutting off car engines.
No, you use more gas getting it started then letting it idle a few minutes
plus – what if it doesn’t start again ? – it can happen
plus you are dramatically increasing wear and tear on the starter and battery
