I doubt it, since the traction control only engages brakes automatically when you are in a skid or otherwise losing traction. During “normal” driving, the system is in “standby” mode.

YES…but nothing that you would notice…if your throtal stays in one position and the TC kicks in[brake on] then your wasting fuel as your going slower,labouring the engine…

Not enough to make it worthwhile to turn off the safety feature of traction control which can save you in you get into a skid situation.

It has nothing to do with the brakes by the way, it applies power to the drive wheel that isn’t losing traction.
