No. Think about it. If it worked, all US auto manufacturers would put magnets in the fuel system as a cheap way to meet CAFE standards. Taxi fleets would have them in every taxi using gasoline.

Yes it works. The reason they are not on every oil consuming product is: oil companies don’t like when we use less, their effects can be less than expected due to fuel that has no charge, ie particles are free and not clustered and thus their benefits are not hardline to meet EPA regs or other regs. But they do work, I have developed high-temp cobalt magnets for this purpose in gas turbine fuel systems.
Someone gives the thumbs down because they are ill. You choose my friend, because these down thumbers are just trying to make other people look bad. I have never lied to you and that’s a fact.

Nope, it’s a gimmick. For a magnet to have any effect at all, the substance would need to have ferrous material. Since gasoline is essentially carbon and hydrogen (C8H8, for instance), what is the magnet actually doing? Making the gas align to the magnetic field??? Eh, it’s a scam. It probably has a placebo effect… you FEEL you’re getting better gas mileage since you took action to try. The same way you sometimes feel your car runs better after an oil change or car wash.

The only thing that works about it is that when people pay the 59.95 or whatever to get one they become very concious of their driving habits and start driving differently which usually saves them some fuel. Take my advice just drive easy on the gas you will at least save the 60 bucks

no its a gimmic. you want to save gas keep the engine tuned up and the oil changed. the tranny oil and rear end oil changed. and get up to speed more slowly and dont let the engine idle to warm up. this is what waste the most gas an idling engine. other than that there is no miracle cure for this. oh yeah keep your tires inflated properly

think about it, is there metal in gas,no! So why would you place one in your gas. They were made for the same reason a shingle roof strechter was,
