Does driving on the freeway save more gas than travelling on the street?

The school I go to is in the same city and its about 6 or 8 miles from my house. Taking the bus takes an hour and a half.
Does having wheel covers on the tires save gas? I dont know why they remove them when my dad took it to get it fixed.

You don’t even drive so don’t worry about it. But yes driveing on the freeway is better on gas and time you could be there in as little as 10 minutes.

Yes having wheel covers do, because it will be more aerodynamic, but it will incredibly minimal unless you really give your car’s body a fully aerodynamic based redesign. And yes, the car is at it’s most efficient at speeds 50-75 MPH.
