No…even if it did, the savings would be so small that the expense and time to convert is not worth it. It is like stepping over a dollar to pick up a penny.
The improvement in fuel efficiency is so slight that you would not notice it, however, there are other benefits to the swap such as: less noise, the ability to adjust the temp. at which the fan turns on/off, and the ability to turn the fan off when fording deep water.
