does anyone know if they passed a bill where the government gives you a $4k credit towards a gas saving car?

They give you a credit but not $4K.
In the US, there is the ‘Cash for Clunkers’ bill that was just passed and will begin being available within the next few days.
It really isn’t all it is cracked up to be.
Most people driving a ‘clunker’ aren’t in the position to be able to afford a new car.
