Do those tornado fuel saver work well on turbo-charged cars?
I gotta 89 supra and I wanna save a little extra gas with one of these but I don’t wanna buy it if it messes up my car.
I understand that the tornado goes on pre-intake manifold after the intercooler in order to perform.
The thing I am unsure about is the extreme boost from the turbo and the possibility that it could damage the tornado and even suck part of it into the manifold and mess something up bad.
Also, I am wondering if they even perform well on turbo cars, since that typhoon-like air circulation already is demonstrated by the turbo. I think… I dunno, pleasse somebody!
thank you!

They don’t work on any car at all. THey do absolutely nothing. it’s a marketing gimmick. save your money.
Dude you are obviously way smarter than this. The tornado is marketed to folks who are stupid – just reading your question shows you know how the turbo works & it’s doing way more than that little thing could ever do. What the heck is a flimsy little thing like that tornado going to add?- absolutely nothing, (except maybe reduce total free area inside the air intake tube by a fraction of a percent) thus reduce airflow that the turbo is trying to increase. save on gas by following the tried and true methods. Keep your tires inflated and easy starts. Don’t be the guy who speeds up to be the first to wait at the next red light. you should change out the spark plugs if the’re due -you’ll get a more complete burn boost power and save fuel.
THEY ARE A PIECE OF CRAP AND DON’T WORK ON ANYTHING, AS A MATTER OF FACT I HAVE SEEN WHERE THEY HAVE ACTUALLY SET OFF THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON SOME VEHICLES.
