can cutting auto sports save a considerable amount of fuel? I mean look at how much fuel is being used in auto sports every year. do you think that cutting the sport will save us some fuel? For example, if there were 2 nascar series instead of 4 (camping world inclu.) its not that i am picking on nascar but its because thats the main auto sport i follow up. It doesn’t really have to be nascar but in every country there is some kind of auto sport be it formula 1,2 or3, drag racing, circuit racing, boat racing or any kind of racing. I mean every country has its local racing and if they cut these will it save fuel? I AM ASKING DONT GET ANGRY WITH ME.

Almost all other car series use ethanol based fuel not gas.
So in the long run, it really doesn’t make much of a difference.
some things just can’t be stopped. We need the diversion and racing means a lot to many people. Besides, it would be a drop in the bucket. We need to clear the freeways in the big cities in order to make a real difference.
Nop, but banning spectators from attending the events might.
nah. drop in the bucket. I work for a company that burns 8.6 million gallons of fuel every day.
combine every form of racing, and it is a miniscule amount.
