Can I save gas by cruising to lights on neutral?
I was thinking about doing this thing where when I am about to stop at a light ahead of me, I put my car in neutral and cruise to the light and eventually stop. Then I stay there in neutral until the light is about to turn green again. Can this help save gas?

it will but not much.
but it is kinda dangerous becuase if an incident occured that you needed to accelerate the car to avoid an acident or such you would not beable to until you get into gear. if you just coast in gear will will save almost as much gas.(automatics)
it will but not much, and in california it is illegal to coast in neutral.
yes. it is actually a hypermiler trick. on the other hand, it can also be dangerous if you need to manuever or if you annoy the other drivers too much.
