Can a 1985 Ford Tempo GL?
can a 85 ford tempo Gl work on ethanol gas??? im trying to save money cause of the soaring gas prices now $3.10/ gallon in my town…i have already added performance parts to get better gas mileage which is now about 35 mpg…but i spend almost 60 dollars in gas every week ( i work about 30 miles away) so i was wondering if my car can work on ethanol gasoline, if not? is there any changes i can make to the fuel system to make it accept the lower priced ethanol gasoline??
thank you so much

do what I do, live with in 5 miles of work, a grocery store, target and a bar lol
i dont know. u should go to the dealership, and ask questions. just buy a used car that u know that can, or wait for a few years and buy as new car. most peopl wont know about that car: its 31 years old!
Yes and now. If the gas is 10% ethanol then yes it will burn it and you will not notice any difference. However if you are talking about the G85, then no this is made for a fuel alternative cars only. As of this year there is ethanol in all summer blend of gas.
